One Mani House
Architect: Mani Architecture 2019
North | R11
One MANI House is a showcase project by a new all-female architecture practice. The project is designed to showcase how good design is adaptable, delightful and useful. The new 180 sqm home in Fitzroy North includes four bedrooms on a 300sqm block.
The design makes the most of every metre with space-saving initiatives such as three hidden pivot doors that reveal a service area (laundry, pantry and store) to expand the kitchen when required, and built-in furniture throughout. Curved living-room bench seating and a dining room table that can seat up to 20 show how modest spaces can cater for entertaining when thoughtfully designed. A bedroom, WIR and ensuite to the front of the house can be isolated for uses such as AirBnB.

Let the ladies of MANI Architecture take you on a tour; Sara Tonini, Rene Nguyen and Taeler Jordan
Our story will be told. Read, explore and learn.. with a little book of secrets.
Map in hand, wander through the house, gaining a comprehensive understanding of its construction, the fixtures, the finishes, the furniture, the art. It's ins and outs.
Nothing will be left untold. Here the quality, costs and function will be shouted. We'll even tell you the challenges we've faced. A setting that is real.
